Hurricane Helene left incredible devastation during late September of 2024. CrossRoads Missions is responding to that need.
Operation Recovery is wrapping up our response to the Western Kentucky tornadoes of December 2021. We are grateful that God has blessed this effort through the body of Christ with amazing numbers. Over 1800 volunteers helped provide 30 new homes, hundreds of home repairs, and countless clean-up projects. We are grateful for our CRM family.
CrossRoads is now expanding the focus of Operation Recovery to replicate this outpouring of service to other communities rebuilding after disaster. Our next focus is Johnson County TN. The regionwide flooding from Hurricane Helene has left many devastated and picking up the pieces of what they lost. Our work there will be ongoing with partners already on the ground. We are thrilled once again to work with a local church. We are partnering with the First Christian Church in Mountain City, TN. Once again, our goal is to make the local church “the hero of the recovery” for the glory of Christ Jesus.
We are looking for Team Leaders, families, or individuals to be a part of making a difference! Come to serve and partner with us in the recovery effort. You may come for a day or for a week. Housing and food are available at NO CHARGE, but we ask you to consider giving to cover as much of the cost as you can. Our work can only be sustained through generous donors. Professional project managers will run our sites to ensure we are meeting the needs of affected families and communities.
- Every member of your group must be at least 18 years of age.
