Appalachia

Purpose

CrossRoads Missions Appalachia seeks to partner with local ministries and organizations in Eastern Kentucky to improve the standard of living, raise expectations, and help families find hope through the grace of Christ. We aim to achieve this by building meaningful relationships within the community, organizing and supporting local activities, and assisting with new home construction, renovations, and remodeling projects.

Partners

CrossRoads Missions Appalachia partners with the Maytown Center, Wayland Historical Society, multiple local churches, senior community centers, schools, and other like-minded ministry organizations to create spaces where people can gather and experience the Gospel in its fullest.

We do this through home repairs, game nights, cookouts, and any other opportunity we can find to spend time building relationships with community members.

Projects

Construction Projects – Trained staff and interns oversee home repair work, including bathroom remodels, wheelchair ramp construction, roofing, painting, and a variety of other jobs suited for people of all skill levels.
