CrossRoads Missions does not provide transportation to/from this field. Upon arrival in New Orleans, your group is required to use its vehicles to travel to/from the work sites and living facilities. Please NO buses! Vans are great!
Housing is currently provided through Camp Hope. Camp Hope offers sleeping quarters with a/c, showers, restrooms and laundry facilities. Crossroads Missions groups are not the only groups who stay at Camp Hope's 300 bed facility.
**Your group is responsible to bring your own bedding (i.e. twin sheets, pillow or sleeping bags).
**Donations of toilet paper, paper towels, and 40/60 watt light bulbs are always appreciated.
While in New Orleans, your meals are provided by Camp Hope. Hot or cold breakfast will be served each morning. Bag lunches will also be made in the morning to take to the work site. Bag lunches include: Ham, Turkey, Cheese, or PB&J sandwiches, Chips, Carrots, Apples, and Oranges. Dinner will be prepared and ready for you at Camp Hope. Sometimes we will even get to serve by helping with food prep and serving dinner! Additional money is needed for meals while you travel, any snacks you may wish to buy and any other personal purchases.
Please let our Field Coordinator know if your group has any food allergies before arriving.
